dr. Winai Dahlan
Dr.Winai Dahlan is the founding director of The Halal
Science Center Chulalongkorn University of Thailand.
This institution was awarded twice of the Government’s
Public Sector Excellence Award (HAL-Q for Halal
standardization system in 2013 and E-Number for
industries’ database of Halal raw materials in 2020).
He won several international and national awards and
received several medals of honor including The King’s
Dushdi Mala Medal of outstanding expertise in sciences
in 2008. He has been selected by Jordan’s the Royal
Islamic Strategic Studies Centre as one of the 500
Most Influential Muslims for 14 consecutive years from
2010 to 2023.
