Mahmoud Tatari
Mahmoud Tatari is founder and general manager of the
German based halal conformity assessment and halal
certification body HALAL CONTROL GmbH. Being a member
of the German Muslim community, he founded HALAL
CONTROL in 2001. He is currently the head of the
Integrity and Ethics committee of the World Halal
Council (WHC) and member of the OIC/SMIIC working
group 1 of the technical committee 11, which is
designated to work on integrity and anti-bribery
mechanisms in the global halal compliance system. He
is a halal assurance expert and is a working group
member of Transparency International.
