prof. dr. Muharem Zildžić
Prof. dr. MUHAREM ZILDŽIĆ, doctor, specialist in
internal medicine and gastroenterology. He graduated
from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of
Zagreb in 1968, specialized in internal medicine in
1977, and later in gastroenterology in 1979. He
received his master's degree in the field of medical
sciences at the Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb in 1981,
and his doctorate in Sarajevo in 1991. He was a
professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Tuzla from
1994 and the responsible teacher of family medicine
from 1998 to 2008. He is one of the founders of family
medicine in BiH. In addition to the Faculty of
Medicine in Tuzla, he also gave lectures at other
universities in the country and abroad. He is a member
of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Bosnia and
Herzegovina. He is now employed at "Medicus A" in
Gračanica and Policlinica Doboj JUG. He published more
than 80 professional and scientific works, 2
monographs, 2 books and 2 university textbooks. He
participated in numerous scientific meetings, as well
as in international and domestic scientific projects.
He is on the editorial board of several anthologies
and magazines, as well as a member of numerous
associations, including the Medical Academy of Bosnia
and Herzegovina.
