Mr. Mohamed Jinna A.J.
Mr Mohamed Jinna A.J is the founder and active member of several organizations such as Halal India, United World Halal Development, Halal Bangladesh, Nepal Food and Nutrition Council, Bahrain Halal Certification Centre, and SAARC Halal Council. He also owns a group of companies offering a range of services from product innovation to professional training, consultation, accreditation, and CSR projects. Halal India, founded by Mr Jinna, has certified over 1300 companies and placed over 1 million Indian-made products in the global market, supporting the Indian Government's Make In India project.
Mr Jinna initiated the Integrated Food Park project in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry to promote employment, economic development, and modern infrastructure facilities for food processing from farm to market. He also started World Halal Day, an international event with participation from over 60 to 70 countries, promoting economic upliftment and financial stability through million-dollar projects and contracts. Mr Jinna's organization, UNWHD, was the first to certify a Halal-friendly Cruise Ship, World Dream, for the Cruise Ship industry, and launched the world's first Ramdhan Spiritual Journey cruise for Muslim travelers.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, UNWHD certified face masks as Halal compliance, benefiting a manufacturer in China, "Al Nora." Mr Jinna's pioneering initiatives have brought a significant impact on the economic development of the tourism industry globally. He has multiple projects lined up in India to enhance the country's economy and overall development.
