Mihaela Brijak Gutierrez
Mihaela Brijak Gutierrez is a Croatian entrepreneur, raw and plant-based chef, educator, and author with over 15 years of experience in developing premium raw, vegan and Halal-certified desserts. Based in Zagreb, she is the founder of the brands Raw Cakes by Mihaela and Raw Sweets by Mihaela — among the first in the region to combine organic, Halal and clean-label standards in dessert production.
Her work focuses on creating high-quality products without refined sugar, gluten or dairy, while maintaining strict production standards (HACCP, organic, Halal). Through her brands she develops and produces premium raw and plant-based desserts with a production capacity of more than 100 cakes per month, delivering products across Europe and positioning her work firmly within the premium, health-oriented market.
Mihaela is a Certified Raw Food Chef and Raw Dessert Chef (London, 2019), holds a Plant-Based Nutrition Certification from the Hippocrates Health Institute, and completed advanced plant-based culinary education at the Food Future Institute (Matthew Kenney). She is the author of three books — Sirova hrana (2015), Slatke strasti (2016) and Sokovi za zdravlje i vitalnost (2018) — with combined sales of more than 35,000 copies, and is a sought-after organiser and lead instructor of raw dessert masterclasses and public workshops on plant-based nutrition and healthy lifestyle.
