Prof. dr. Jawad Alzeeris
Dr. Jawad Alzeeris a highly accomplished chemist whose groundbreaking research has contributed significantly to the field of medicine. Dr. Alzeer earned his PhD in organic chemistry from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, where he focused on developing a cellulose analogue by replacing the glycosidic bond with butadiene units. This innovative work demonstrated his skill and creativity in the field of organic chemistry. After working at Hoffmann La Roche, where he developed a new pharmacophore for an antimalarial drug, he went on to make more discoveries at the University of Michigan and the University of Zurich (UZ), focusing on gene therapy and cancer therapy. In 2014, Dr. Alzeer became an assistant professor at Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU) and founded the Swiss Scientific Society for Developing Countries. He is currently the director of the society and a senior researcher at UZ. Dr. Alzeer's research focuses on linking medicine and chemistry and developing new medical concepts like Halalopathy and permissible medicine, which promote prevention and complete recovery.
