Dr. Ali Fanous has got a Bachelor of Food Science degree from Aleppo University in Syria. He worked as a food expert at the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade in Syria. Then, he moved to Germany where he completed a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Technology and Biotechnology of Food from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). During his studies at TUM, he worked as a researcher in the field of proteomics and electrophoresis from 2006 till 2009. Dr. Ali Fanous is now Technical Auditor, Food Technologist and Certification Unit manager at Halal Control GmbH. in Germany. He took part as a speaker in numerous conferences in several countries in addition to his participations as a trainer at Halal training courses in Germany and abroad.
