Mirela Tinjić
Mirela Tinjić was born on September 14, 1992, in
Zagreb, Croatia. She pursued her higher education at
the Faculty of Food and Biotechnology in Zagreb, where
she completed her master's degree in Nutrition in
2018. During her time at the university, she developed
an interest in the area of food safety and quality,
which led her to participate in various education
programs and attend conferences on the subject. In
2017, she became a certified halal quality auditor
after completing the HACCP, HRN EN ISO 22000:2006, HRS
ISO/TS 22002-1:2010, HRN EN ISO 22005:2008 &
Planning, preparing and conducting audits program.
Mirela has been working at the Center for Halal
Quality Certification for the last five years, where
she serves as the head of the educational department
and an external auditor of halal quality. She is also
a lecturer at the dmAcademy, teaching the Nutrition
module since 2018. Her passion for nutrition and
helping others inspired her to establish a team called
nu3nitionistice in 2020. The team's aim is to
promote proper and sustainable nutrition through
educational workshops and individual consultations.
Mirela is a mother of two girls and resides in Zagreb,
Croatia.
